nowhere else to be

In July 2022, a group of Montreal musicians shut themselves in a converted mop closet and decided to make an album. Their only goal: “make something they’d never heard before.”

The result is a sonic smorgasbord with echoes of everything from Radiohead and my bloody valentine to Frank Ocean and Sufjan Stevens. Sliding effortlessly along an outlandish musical spectrum from shoegaze to R&B and countless spaces in between, the album is a testament to the power of audacious experimentation and meticulous craftsmanship.
